Theophilus Tawiah

Theophilus Tawiah is a Managing Partner at Nobisfields.

He specialises in a number of areas of law including banking and finance, corporate/commercial, energy, employment, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, capital market, projects, tax and litigation. He is an Adjunct Law Lecturer at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).

He has provided legal and tax services to a number of multinational and local companies doing business in Ghana.

He has a wide and extensive experience in the provision of services to many clients in financial services, energy, mining & utilities, consumer and industrial products and telecommunications sectors.

He worked at Ernst & Young (EY) for a couple of years where he held a variety of positions.

He has work experiences in Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Theophilus holds the following qualifications:

    • Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana
    • Chartered Tax Practitioner (Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana)
    • QCL from Ghana School of Law
    • LLM from Cardiff University
    • LPC from De Montfort University
    • LLB from University of Leicester
    • BCom (Accounting and Finance) from University of Cape Coast

He is a member of the  Ghana Bar Association, International Fiscal Association and the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana

 

 

 

Joseph Tamakloe

Joseph Tamakloe is a Partner at Nobisfields.

Prior to joining Nobisfields, he was a Senior State Attorney at the Registrar-General Department.

He specialises in corporate, intellectual property, corporate governance, debt recovery and real estate.

He joined the Registrar-General Department in September 1988 as a State Attorney and rose through the ranks to Senior State Attorney.

He has over 30 years of experience in company law, intellectual property, company administration and employment law.

He has over 30 years of experience in the administration of the Companies Act, Bodies Corporate (Official Liquidations) Act. 1963, Incorporated Private Partnership Act 1962, Act 152, the Registration of Business Names Act. 1962, Act 151, Trademarks Act 2004, Act 664, Industrial Designs Act 2003 and Patent Act, 2003, Act 657 by virtue of having worked as a Senior State Attorney at the Registrar-General’s Department.

Joseph was a member of a team of three Lawyers who drafted the Industrial Property Legislation for Ghana.

Joseph holds the following qualifications:

      • QCL from Ghana School of Law
      • BA (Law) from University of Ghana

He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
